"I am writing to say thank you for the wonderful time I have just had. I was extremely impressed by pretty much everything. I have only been on one riding holiday before so didn't really know what to expect. My main concern was, of course, the type of ponies you would have. Though I'm not a terribly experienced rider I was a little worried that I would be assigned a pony that was so laid back or so used to being mauled about that it would just plod along. I wanted to put my new skills to the test (I've been on many, many hacks over the years but it is only in the past 2 years that I have been receiving formal instruction). You assigned Jamie to me. Again I was a little concerned when I learnt he was 20 years. 'Surely' I thought 'Jamie will be a plodder'. I couldn't have been more wrong! Jamie was a perfect darling. Well mannered, responsive, forward going and totally unflappable. And I certainly hadn't expected to be put on a pony that the other ponies looked to for guidance. In fact all our mounts were lovely. I was also impressed with the accommodation you had arranged. And the trails planned for us included everything asked for. I think the thing that really impressed me was that Matt took the time to sit with us when we returned back to find out how we had got on and to get feedback on the trails and accommodaton." "Just to say thanks again for the superb guided trail of last weekend; it made a refreshing change for me not to have to worry about route maps & directions and of course all those gates!. Sionedd was lovely to ride and certainly leaves me in a quandary when it comes to deciding who exactly is my favourite FreeRein Steed. So many horses so little time as Mel aptly demonstrated at the end of the trail when pointing out all the other horses I might still like to try!. We all particularly wanted to praise the hospitality & warm welcome we received at Llanerchcoedlan Farm; a real treat after a weary day's travelling. For me personally, it certainly ranks high up among the accommodation I have stayed in over my four FreeRein trips. Sadly now & all too soon, it's back to reality seemingly a million miles away from the peaceful Welsh hills, sat at work daydreaming away the hours until my next FreeRein trip." "Thanks very much for another great weekends riding. I tell everyone about it because we all just love the wonderful riding country and feeling like you own your own pony for the weekend. Much better than going on an hour's hack somewhere where its so structured and the horses all know when to canter and to stop - awful when you have had your own horse.
