The Bache
Spring Lambs & Hereford Cattle
The Bache Farm
The Bache is situated a couple of miles from the village of New Radnor. It is a stone built 17th. century farmhouse with exposed beams and log fires. You will receive a quiet but warm welcome from May Hardwicke who provides a high standard of accommodation and food on this family run farm.
As well as offering hospitality to FreeRein riders the Hardwicks have also diversified into bottling their own spring water to supply local restauarants and stores.
Half a mile or so away the neighbouring farm too has diversified into bottling - in this case their own cider - Ralph’s Old Badland Cider & Perry. It now boasts the smallest licensed bar in the country. It holds approximately 6 standing customers. Do pay a visit if you have the time. But sup with care or you may not qualify as one of the standing customers.
