Belmont Cottage

When you first set eyes on Belmont Cottage you will think “chocolate box” The colourful hanging baskets and roses growing round the door are indicators that you are entering a delightful friendly little house.

Your host Avril Hoyle offers accommodation for riders venturing on the longer 4 and 5 day trails up to the Teme Valley. Horses stay down the lane about 10 minutes walk away.

Belmont Cottages is in the village of Knucklas which has both shop and a pub the Castle Inn. The latter seems to be a very quiet place but it may be worth looking in if you wandering the village. Far up above is a very high viaduct carrying the Mid Wales railway line as it drops down into the Teme Valley and crosses the border into England on its way from Swansea to Shrewsbury.
