The Fforest Inn
The Fforest Inn
In times long gone herds of Welsh Black cattle would have been a familiar sight passing the Fforest Inn with their drovers on the way to the English markets. Today the Welsh Black is still much in evidence here - in the form of tasty steaks as part of an interesting and varied restaurant menu catering equally for vegetarians and carnivores (omnivores?).
Over the years this old inn has undergone extensive renovation and guests are offered comfortable en suite rooms, residents lounge and refurbished bar with wood burning stove.
All riders arriving here will be warmly welcomed - and for the horses there is a grassy field close at hand behind the inn.
