Not a restaurant with rooms, not a pub with accommodation, this is definately a hotel. Lounge bar, public bar, large comfortable dining room, residents lounge, outside patio in the spacious tidily kept gardens, and, for many riders - what bliss - there are baths as well as showers in most bedrooms. where a complimentary carafe of sherry will welcome you to your room. This is a well run hotel - Tracey and Drew are your hosts - with a long history as an important coaching inn on the route from the Welsh coast to Hereford.

Today it is an important night stop for FreeRein riders who have crossed the Radnor Forest from Painscastle or Old Radnor, as well as for those setting out on the six day Trans Cambrian North.
