Holidays on Horseback

Accommodation before and after your Trail

Riders are asked to arrive at FreeRein HQ between 9 and 9.30 a.m. for the start of their trails. If you have far to travel we would advise staying near to us the night before. When you book a trail we will forward an accommodation list (also see www.hay-on-wye.co.uk) which offers a wide selection of places to stay in Hay and the surrounding area.

Hay-on-Wye

With a population of 1500, Hay has over 30 second hand bookshops. This amazing internationally known book town has been created by Richard Booth the King of Hay and is the annual venue for the Times Literary Festival. As one would expect Hay is well provided with restaurants and bars and strange little shops. Those needing to top up with bits of riding wear will find Horsewise of Hay (01 497 820 240) very helpful.

Please note that we make all arrangements for your on trail accommodation - this is only if you require accommodation before and/or after your trail with us.
