Families on trail

fun on trail!
Introduction
Trail riding through the hills, like skiing, is an all absorbing activity in which the whole family can join. Families wishing to book an unescorted FreeRein Trail should include 2 or more adults if any of the group are under 18 years old. Often we are asked do we have a younger age limit. Age may not be a defining factor. Do ring to discuss. It depends very much on the experience of both adults and the younger ones whether or not a trail is successful.
Which Trail?
Trail riding is a popular activity for families. All can take part and you are riding at a pace that suits the least experienced rider. If you are not already experienced in riding as a family we would suggest booking a short trail to start - just 2 or 3 days. If you are thinking of more than a two day trail, a Based Trail may be a good idea. Ride to one of the nearest farms (or if you prefer an Inn it would be the the Roast Ox) and ride out from there each day. We will provide a route pack with a good choice of rides returning to your base each day. You are not then committed to reaching a pre-arranged trail stop at the end of each day. We would especially recommend Cwmfillo, Newhouse or Llanerchcoedlan Wells as trail bases.
Guided?

bonding with your gg
If you would prefer a guided trail and there are 4 or more people in your family then we would recommend a Bespoke Guided trail which can be tailored exactly to your needs.
