Learning to ride on a horse holiday is relaxed, sociable and fun!
Horse Holidays
Onto the Trail, the horse holidays for beginners and novices . . .
On this three day horse holiday introduction to riding in the hills, our purpose is that you should feel at home with your horses d enjoy being in the saddle as you travel along the tracks and trails. Even those with little or no previous experience will soon be able to prepare their horse for the trail - catch, feed, groom, and tack up. Because the course is absolutely practical and learning takes place out in the hills it is ideal for those wishing to introduce a non-riding friend to the pleasures of horseback travel and horse holidays.
Relaxed guiding and instruction on this horse holiday . . .
The instruction and guidance we offer is relaxed, friendly and informal. The horses are patient and understanding. By the end of an Onto the Trail many riders will have gained the confidence to set out on self-guided FreeRein Trails or to join one of the many guided rides available world wide - and of course here at FreeRein.
Stays at welcoming country inns . . .
Onto the Trailer's ride out from FreeRein HQ across the hills to Painscastle where 2 nights are spent at the Roast Ox Inn or the Red Lion Inn. All rooms are en suite, the chef is good and there is lively local trade attracted by the excellent Real Ales and Cider. Perfect for Apres-Trail beverages!
