A long day this whichever way you go about it!
Water Break its Neck
If you decide to travel out by the eastward route via Water Break its Neck you will need packed lunches. Riders already familiar with part of the route and traveling fairly fast could be tying up outside the Radnorshire Arms in New Radnor in time for lunch, then continue onto the top of the Radnor Forest via Harley Dingle.
Whichever way you go you will come down to Penybont Common and thence to the Severn Arms.
Return
The return along the western edge of the Forest offers the option to stop at the Forest Inn or the Red Lion for lunch - but do check with mission control (FreeRein HQ) as their opening days / times depend on the time of year.
