Bettws Mill is set in its own nature reserve with ancient oak woods and riverside meadow. It is a place of peacefulness in the hill country of mid-Wales which can boast fine starlit night skies. Your host Anne stewards the land in a way that encourages conservation and biodiversity – over fifty species of birds have been recorded with many different dragonflies patrolling the pond in the meadow.
Guests have sole use of a large bathroom, dining area and mill room with a wood burning stove. The view from the bedrooms overlooks the river.
Breakfast includes homemade muesli, bread and marmalade and the sausages come from free range local pigs.
