A warm and friendly welcome awaits from Sue and Dave at Glanoer Guest House. Positioned in a picturesque rural location near to Hundred House in its own idyllic 8 acres, it is a supurb place to stay and relax for both horses and riders alike. You are free to explore the grounds here taking in the gardens, fields and Glanoer brook. Go quietly and you may spot a water vole or weasel; there have even been signs of otter activity.
Attention to detail is key at Glanoer and the farmhouse has been recently renovated to a very high standard. Rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. After a day out on trail Freereiners may enjoy a warm by the fire or a hot bubble bath before settling down to a beautifully cooked, hearty dinner. Your trusty steeds meanwhile can enjoy a good roll and some tasty nosh in a lush field next to the Farmhouse. Step outside for a little star-gazing before bed; this peaceful spot in Mid Wales boasts some of the best dark skies in the UK.
The sumptuos homecooked food is second to none with local Welsh produce being the mainstay, riders who enjoy a drink or two with their meals – or even before or after – should include a supply for us to deliver with the luggage. Breakfast includes the freshest of free-range eggs from the resident chickens, the Glanoer Girls.
Your hosts will be more than happy to make up a packed lunch for your onward journey, or if you’re returning to Freerein HQ perhaps you’ll stop at the Roast Ox for a pub lunch.
