Freerein Riding Holidays Trail Guide Job Opening

Live-in, full-time seasonal job | April-October 2025 | Applicants 21 years or older, full UK driving license.

The primary role in this position is to guide and look after customers in the hills.
In addition to this you will assist on the yard. During this role you would also undertake our normal guide training program.

Responsibilities

– Guiding customers out on trail.
– Riding and training new horses out on trail.
– Looking after the horses.
– Looking after self guided customers.
– Rotating responsibility for Freerein advice line.
– Luggage & feed delivery
– Keeping the yard and reception areas clean and tidy.
– Tack, yard & bucket cleaning.

Requirements

• Confident, calm, experienced horse rider.
• Weight 10½ st (67kg) or under.
• Full UK driving licence.
• 21 years or older in April.

As the UK’s leading trail riding centre, Freerein Riding Holidays specializes in multi-day self-guided and guided riding holidays, maintains a herd of 45 exceptional trail horses and looks after over 1000 guests per year. You would be joining our friendly crew of people and living on site as part of our team.
